The journey to this piece has length and history.  A couple of years ago a dear friend and sister commissioned 3 pieces of jewellery for her young girls as keepsakes in the memory of their loving dad who passed away far too soon.  We were honoured and humbled to create these sacred pieces for them.  The conversation then was always that our friend would have a legacy piece made for her in memory of her love.  We all know mums who think about themselves last.  And so, in similar fashion, after a few gentle encouragers, we were finally able to craft this beauty for her.

We began with one of our favourite rings in our Frangipani range.  We crafted it in 9ct gold. And we decided to place the stones in a way that created the illusion of 5 flowers instead of the 4 they are meant to be.  For the 5th flower to be visible, it must borrow 1 petal each from the other 4 flowers.  They look complete together and incomplete on their own – a symbolic representation of the family.  We finished the ring by engraving spearheads on the bands and words on the inside of the ring that depicted the length of the journey of their love…… forever.

This was a total labour of love for a very special wife and mum in memory of her forever love.
